RMS tracks master, mechanical, club, foreign, 3rd party and digital licenses. It allows you to enter works that should be licensed, the creators and owners of the works, and track the requests and receipts of license for use of the works. You can easily view all the parties involved with a work, both domestic and foreign, and determine the licensing requirements. You can also view your current licenses for a work to determine your potential liability for using the work in a new product.

Once you have decided to use a work, RMS helps you track your progress in acquiring the proper licenses. RMS generates license requests – both printed and electronic. When a license is received, RMS keeps track of the effective period, license number, agreed rates, and owner information.

You can set up a project that uses multiple songs and tracks your progress in the license acquisition process for the project. You can track requests for digital licenses for existing albums, and compare license agreements for a song that is involved in multiple projects.

Licenses are searchable by song and track, and multiple types of licenses can be designated so you can generate lists of songs that have master and copyright digital licenses for use on Internet services, check if all the 3rd party licenses have been approved for an album, or get a list of licenses that are about to expire.

RMS allows you to enter and edit royalty rate data for a license. Managers can review and approve the rates and export them to your existing royalty system.

RMS helps you control your licensing process. You specify the required approvals for each step and managers can easily check on the status of license requests.

RMS is a browser-based application that runs with Internet Explorer using an SQL Server or Oracle Database.
