The complex and fluid nature of AFTRA reporting requirements can be impossible to manage manually. AftraZ by R. B. Zack & Associates can automate AFTRA reporting processes, as well as adapt to the ever-changing requirements put forth in the AFTRA agreement.

AftraZ tracks individual artists in each AFTRA group, determines their eligibility and Social Security Numbers, calculates the appropriate deductions for recovery of minimum contributions, and keeps a history of contributions paid.

The system allows users to define earnings caps, minimums, and other changeable elements of the contribution formulas that may evolve in future iterations of the AFTRA agreement.

AftraZ also allows users to override automatic formula calculations for specific individual or group contributions, and tracks the results in the contribution history.

The final set of Schedule C forms can be printed with a summary report for each semi-annual reporting period. AFTRA payments can then be made in accordance with normal label payables procedures. And the XML-enhanced version of AftraZ enables electronic submission to AFTRA. These eFile capabilities replace or supplement the printed Schedule C documentation, eliminating the need for voluminous printouts along with the associated shipping and handling costs.

More importantly, AftraZ ensures better reporting accuracy and eliminates discrepancies caused by re-keying reams of printed data.
